MuTanT Zoo - Goripus vs Deats

Cos I went to london, didn't get to do my gorilla/octopus hybrid...so I used that to do a battle scene between the Goripus and a flock of deer/bat hybrids known as Deat's. Its a rush job, and it shows, but I like the Goripus.

The Goripus is a naturally benign creature that prowls the highlands looking for vegetation, before resting in the swamp lands to regain any lost moisture. Its skin is natually colour changing to allow it to live peacefully. When it meets a mate, they are linked fo life. Its lower beak is used for uprooting tough roots while its upper teeth ginds them into a pulp. Its strong arms and tentacles help to hoist it hugher into the trees and grab any nearby small rodents for consumption.

The Deats live as a herd, with one alpha male, noted by the humugous antlers adorning its head. Extremely territorial, the creatures will attack anything that stumbles into its swampland area, despite its size. The male will generously spread his seed amongst the herd, though any rival males are chased out, bar one who will succeed the stag. Though nocturnal, they have a keen eyesight to watch for predators and hearing above that of a normal creature. They use all hooves to gallop across hills or tree banches to launch them into the air and spread their wings.

This makes Deats and Goripus's natural enemies. Not for food (Although a Goripus is naturally an omnivore and will eat a Deat if hungry or provoked.), but for land a territories tend to blend, and both animas being very fierce.
